The SSG -SFCNVHS in Ortega ST. Brgy Tanqui of City of San Fernando La Union is the official student representative body of the only Vocational School in the City of san fernando La Union Secondary School. As such, it represents the interests of Vocatian within and outside the institution. As the autonomous, unified and the highest democratic representative of the student body in the school, the SSG is composed of members elected amongst the student body , upholding and adhering with the Mission Statement of department of Education "to protect and promote the right of every Filipino to quality, equitable, culture-based and complete basic education" where "students learn in a child-friendly, gender-sensitive, safe and motivating environment". It is also mandated to organize and direct campaigns and activities to promote the ideals , principles, thrusts, and objectives of the SSG-SFCNVHS and Department of Education
