The United States Government Alumni Association - Zamboanga City (USGAA – Zamboanga City) is a coordinating body of all alumni of United States Government-Sponsored Programs to the U.S. Embassy-Manila who are from and/or currently residing in the city. It consists of alumni from the following programs: Philippine Youth Leadership Program (PYLP), Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program, Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Academic Fellowship, Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellowship, Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) SEA Camp, International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) Graduates. \r\n\r\nThe USGAA – Zamboanga City aims to advance leadership skills and hone new skills of alumni and non-alumni community participants. Further, through the experiences garnered during their respective exchange study, the alumni implement various initiatives virtually and on ground focusing on cultural, environmental, and peace building education as well as civic engagements and youth empowerment.
