Description:\r\nThe Pharmacy Student Council (PSC) is an organization for students taking up Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy that offers opportunities for engagement, learning, and leadership. The PSC will expose students to and encourage their participation in social, cultural, and recreational programs. This will enrich the overall educational experiences of the students and develop their leadership and organizational skills.\r\nObjective:\r\na. Support curricular development activity that is responsive to national and global needs through outcomes based and research oriented programs and uphold for the advancement of Pharmacy profession through participation in various forms of research exposure.\r\nb. Conduct scientific research processes and develop a sense of responsiveness in attaining resolution that has bearing to social, health and pharmaceutical concerns.\r\nc. Establish partnership with beneficiaries in the community for sustainable support that develop awareness of student’s social responsibility and provide pharmaceutical care services and drug health related information through patient’s counseling in the proper use of both prescribed and patient chosen medications\r\nd. Expose the students to professional competency in managing drug establishments and in a hospital institution based on sound entrepreneurial practice\r\ne. Acquire skills in the field of drug development and manufacturing standards through quality professional exposure of learning experience in manufacturing firms.\r\nf. Active involvement of students and faculty in continuing professional education and advocating the values of the scientific mind as to attain a successful pharmaceutical endeavor.\r\ng. Create opportunities for linkages with accredited organizations in local, national, international organizations and agencies so as to provide students with an attitude of competitiveness and earn higher learning outcomes.\r\nh. Contribute to the overall social, mental, emotional and physical health of individuals, communities and the country
