A student council is a group of student leaders who are elected by their peers to represent the student body in school matters. The council typically consists of a president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, and representatives from different grade levels or departments.\r\nThe objectives of a student council are:\r\n1. To serve as a liaison between the student body and school administration, addressing concerns and advocating for student needs.\r\n2. To foster leadership skills and civic engagement among council members, and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.\r\nOverall, a student council aims to enhance the educational experience of students by promoting a sense of belonging, leadership, and civic responsibility within the school community.
