Sacred Heart of Jesus Youth Movement (SHJYM) is an organization initially formed for our chapel’s activities that needs the unity of the youth in the community. SHJYM has been the core of Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel, involving all community projects and activities every month. Every member of the organization is trained to bring out their best, even on abilities or talents that they never knew they had. We inspire each other to be better and is open to other youth in our community that is willing to grow with us. With our mentor, we sharpened our skills at a young age and became aware and sensitive to every crisis we face. SHJYM has been and still continues to be an active youth organization that extends our helping hand to other communities in need.\r\n\r\nOBJECTIVES:\r\n\r\na. To bring together and unite the youth of Barangay Luz, Sitio Abellana.\r\nb. To be able to develop self-discipline in improving talents, skills, abilities of the youth and for the community as well.\r\nc. To be able to create opportunities for youth in discovering and expressing youth their qualities and skills especially in decision-making.\r\nd. To be able to develop and appreciate the same or equal treatment, opportunities, rights and obligations in all aspects of life.\r\ne. To strengthen youth members, leader’s intercultural and social, as well as their abilities to manage and deal with diversity.\r\nf. To create programs that would prepare the SHJYM Youth for their future endeavors.
