The active involvement of youth in disaster risk reduction and management programs is\r\nessential for building resilient communities. Their digital literacy, community engagement\r\nskills, innovative thinking, and inclusion in decision-making processes make them valuable assets in mitigating the impact of disasters. By recognizing and harnessing the potential of\r\nyoung people, we can create a more resilient and sustainable future for all.\r\nBYDRRM has emphasized the necessity of young people being engaged, well-informed citizens\r\nwhen it comes to disaster risk reduction and management, as well as climate change\r\nadaptation. It is apparent that being receptive to learning the DRRM and CCA gives a\r\nfoundation that helps young comprehend the hazards and disasters that can affect our lives\r\nand gain the skill sets that will allow them to become resilient youth.
