Education

• The BSTM Program is one of the pioneering course of Samal Island City College. The Program started its first operation last August 2019 with a one hundred fourteen students. Today, we are second year of operation and we have at least two hundred and thirty five students enrolled. The aim of our program is to: To demonstrate knowledge of tourism industry, local tourism products and services. • To interpret and apply relevant laws related to tourism industry • To utilize information technology applications for tourism industry • To observe and perform risk mitigation activities • To demonstrate administrative and managerial skills in a service-oriented business organization • To perform human capital development functions of a tourism oriented organization • To utilize various communication channels proficiently in dealing with guest and colleagues.
