The PNUV Math Guild is a school-based organization founded in 2009 with its primary vision of providing mathematics major education students with a community that could provide mentoring, fellowship, and camaraderie among its members. Throughout the years, this vision of the organization was made possible by conducting activities that engaged mathematics major students in delivering service toward the University by advocating for the promotion of numeracy skills and love for the subject among other students, environmental protection and preservation, and equality among all. At present, the organization is composed of 66 members, including its officers. These “Polymaths” carries the vision and mission of the organization by planning, designing, and implementing various programs and activities that aim to contribute to the abovementioned advocacies. These activities became an avenue for the members to work towards a common goal thus establishing strong bonds and camaraderie in the process. With this, we are not only giving service toward the PNU Visayas community but also attaining the original purpose of the organization.
