The PNUV SG has started its humble beginning by the students, for the students, and with the students. It promotes the philosophy and the general objectives of the organization anchored on the core values of the university; truth, excellence, and service imbued with transformative and servant leadership characterized by integrity, humility, and compassion in serving the studentry. The PNUV SG is a democratic, nationalistic, patriotic, autonomous, interdependent, inclusive and representative student organization. The PNUV SG Mission is dedicated in serving the students for utmost moral participation. Its Vision is Proactive student-centered government. The PNUV SG shall be the highest expression of all students of the Philippine Normal University Visayas and firmly adheres to the following democratic principles: Academic Freedom of Pre-service Teachers, Respect to Proper Authorities, Belief in the Potential of every Person, Respect, protect, and responsibly exercise the Human Rights, Protection, conservation, and preservation of the environment, Importance of education, Filipino language, arts, culture and sports, science and technology in the progress of the students of Philippine Normal University Visayas Campus, promote Solidarity and Volunteerism, Equality, Equity and Inclusivity.
