Economic Empowerment

The League of Enterprising Young Farmers for Talakag (LEYFT) is a new organization in the municipality that is agriculture-related and located at Purok-4, San Isidro, Talakag, Bukidnon. This organization was founded in 2022 by Mr. John Lorence S. Pacuño, an agriculturist who is currently the President of the organization. LEYFT is an agri-related youth organization whose members range in age from 15 to 30 years old, and only a resident of the Municipality of Talakag can be an official member of this organization. All of the members of the organization are from the different barangays of the municipality. The vision of LEYFT Organization is to capitalize on the growth of actively engaged young entrepreneurs and farmers to establish itself as a premier agriculture-related youth organization in Talakag. The League of Entrepreneurship Young Farmers for Talakag commits to elevating the youth sector's engagement in the agriculture value chain, providing an inclusive environment to all members, continually encouraging youth to participate and get involved in farming, and equipping young farmers to become a technology-based organization.
