The Junior Social Workers Association of the Philippines is the official organization of all students taking up Bachelor of Science in Social Work (BSSW). Connected to this organization is the National Association of Social Work Education Incorporated (NASWEI) which is deemed its mother organization. NASWEI member schools are the only institutions in the country eligible for membership in the JSWAP General Assembly. However, this organization invites non-NASWEI member schools to participate in JSWAP events and initiatives with the exception of its biennial election JSWAP- Juniors Social Workers’ association of the Philippines is the student chapter of the National Association for Social Work Education, Inc., an organization that is dedicated to the pursuit of honor and excellence in the field of Social work. In USTP-Claveria, Junior Social Workers’ Association of the Philippines is a student government- organization, consisting of 12 members from President to Peace officers and accompanied with 6 representatives. It was introduced in the University by Ms. Jasmin P. Moner, a registered Social worker, and also a JSWAP irregular adviser. The officers in this organization are obliged to lead their co-social work students in order to create connections to establish camaraderie in the social work course.
