The Girl Scout of the Philippines (GSP) is one of the existing organizations in the Philippines today effectively promotes the objectives embodied in Section 13, Article II of 1987 Constitution wich provides that " The State recognizes the vital role of the youth in nation-building and shall promote and protect their physical, moral, spiritual, intellectual and social wellbeing. It shall inculcate in the youth patriotism and encourage their involvement in public and civic parades The GSP aims to help girls and young women realize the ideals of womanhood and prepare them for their roles and responsibilities and their home and in nation-building. To help girls develop their full individuals potential; relate to others with increasing understanding, skill and respect; develop values to guide their actions and provide the foundation for sound decision making; and contribute to the improvement of society through their abilities, leadership skills and patriotism
