Active Citizenship

The Pigcawayan Rainbow Community was established on February 12, 2023 to stand as the backbone of LGBTQIA+ citizen of the Municipality of Pigcawayan and serve the youth who is a member of the said gender spectrum. The purpose of this organization is to: 1. Promote a better comprehension of LGBTQIA+ orientations to achieve mutual respect and understanding. 2. Expose and fight all forms of bigotry and discriminatory practices that tend to deprive persons of their human and/or civil rights. 3. Develop and provide peer support services. 4. Actively participate in all programs, projects, activities of the Local Government Unit of Pigcawayan.
