The SDRRM is aimed at preventing new and reducing existing disaster risk and managing risk, all of which contribute to strengthening resilience and therefore to the achievement of sustainable development. The main target are the safety of learners and everyone within the school. OBJECTIVES: 1.To ensure the safety and security of students, teachers and other school personnel during and after a disaster 2.To help school personnel and their disaster action team to strategize a specific response for disaster preparedness. 3.To train teachers, school personnel and students on how to properly respond during disaster. 4.To assess the disaster response plan designed by the School Disaster Management Committee
