Donate-2-Create: Sablayanihan is a volunteer group fostering the welfare of underpriviliged children and indigent communities in the municipality of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. It is registered with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as Sablayanihan Inc, a non-profit/ non-stock organization. We envision communities in Sablayan where every child and their families are cared for, protected and live in environment that provide opportunities to improve their living conditions. Sablayanihan's flagship program Children's Necessity Bank' has been providing children and communities essential supplies especially in times of calamities and natural disasters, as well as unfortunate events such as house fire, crop loss and unemployment. The Necessity Bank (NB) is a space where we receive and store all the donated supplies that are being distributed to children and families in need. Since the supplies are readily available in the NB, volunteers can immediately respond to children and families who needed supplies such as food, hygiene and sanitation essentials, school supplies, clothing and other things that can be useful to the communities. Under our flagship program, our activities include: (1) Feeding Programs being conducted in schools (2) Disaster Response / Relief Initiative particularly after typhoons and floodings (3) Free Haircuts in different Barangays (4) Mangyan Communities Initiatives provide assistance to indigenous communities such as clothing, food, solar lights etc. (5) School Supplies Distribution in schools or when they children come to us individually for help.
