The 4H Club was generally founded in 1900 in the United States, then it reached the Philippines when Maria Y. Orosa founded its extension in 1934. In 2012, the 4H Club of Sto. Tomas which is located in Sto, Tomas, Batangas was established. The said organization was mainly composed of those individuals who are part, primarily, of the out-of-school youth from age 15 to 30. Their common interest in farming, and Agri-based income-generating projects (IGP) leads this organization to widen its boundaries to the fullest. Nowadays, the organization is still doing its purpose and standing firm on the philosophies it believed in – “Make the Best Better.” They align and embody the words HEAD, HEART, HANDS, and HEALTH in making their purpose in their community, and in reaching different groups of individuals.
