At the Rotaract Club of Sto. Tomas, we encourage everyone to join the global movement of young leaders who are developing innovative solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges. Rotaract clubs bring together people ages 18 and older to exchange ideas with leaders in the community, develop leadership and professional skills, and have fun through service. In communities worldwide, Rotary and Rotaract members work side by side to act through service. From big cities to rural villages, Rotaract is changing communities like yours. The name "Rotaract" is a blend of the words "Rotary" and "action." The Rotaract is also called "People in Action and with every action we take in our community, we embrace the motto "Fellowship Through Service". Rotaract members decide how to organize and run their clubs, manage their own funds, and plan and carry out activities and service projects. Rotary club sponsors offer guidance and support and work with your club as partners in service. The objectives of Rotaract Club are aligned with the mission of Rotary International, which is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. The Four-Way Test, Area of Focus, and Avenues of Service express our commitment to service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership. Together with Rotary, we are dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
