Education

The Supreme Student Council of Republic Central Colleges is a democratic government of the students, and all government authority emanates from them. The SSC adopts the generally accepted principles of the national law as a part of its law and adheres to the policy and peace, equality, justice, freedom, cooperation, and amity with the School and other external bodies. The SSC shall have jurisdiction over all College students of RCC. The prime duty of the SSC is to serve and protect the students. The SSC shall represent the RCC studentry at all times. The SSC holds allegiance to RCC and firmly believes to its philosophy, vision, mission, and values statement. The SSC believes that: (1) the total development of man is based on faith, science, and virtue; (2) the importance of spiritual formation is a vital part in creating a just and humane society; (3) education is a human right where people shall take an active role in self and communal development for a better society. It must be both rational and responsive to the needs of the studentry and the society towards the development of the students’ potential; and (4) true leadership is a very important avenue where students can be developed in becoming responsible citizens and leaders for the good of others and form the development of the nation.
