Active Citizenship

Tagnipan-on Arnis Warriors is inspired by the City of El Salvador itself. The Tagnipa came from the history of El Salvador City, and legend has it that a long time ago, during Spanish time, the City, then a municipality, was named Tagnipa because of the abundance of the nipa plants in the locality. Further, Arnis Warriors refers to the brave members of this young organization who display bravery in acquiring skills in our very own Filipino martial arts and sports. This organization was created to promote the Philippine National Matial Arts and Sports to the youth and produce superior athletic achievement in the field of Arnis. The Tagnipan-on Arnis Warriors also would also like to promote and promulgate self-defense to all the young ones and even to all the people of El Salvador, to be prepared in every time and to secure one’s self from any harm and danger that may occur. For the time being, the Organization is still gathering young and passionate arnis players and even those who wish to learn the sport for fun and for protection. The Tagnipan-on Arnis Warriors also envisions to competently participate in both Local and International Competitions that might be available along the way. The Organization seeks to dominate in the field of sport that we are bannering to be duly recognized not just in the city of El Salvador but to whole country.
