Health, Education, Governance, Environment
It all started with a small group meeting of student-leaders in response to the students’ needs survey result (SNS)- the students are in need of programs, activities, and projects (PAPs) that could help maximize their skills and empowers them. The word “ANGAT” then came out. It literally means upliftment, which is suitable for the needs of the students, the need of empowerment. To make the program more exceptional, the council decided to design a logo thru a logo making contest which was posted in the social media platform aiming for many entries to choose from. Fortunate enough, Mr. Rent Q. Salimbao, Youth Formation Coordinator of City Schools Division of Dasmariñas sent an entry for the contest. The council did check thoroughly the details of the symbol if it follows the guidelines and mechanics of the logo making contest. After which, the council decided to make the symbol as the official logo of the program and presented it to the SSG Adviser, Mr. Mark Ahldonn T. Nangcas, Teacher 2 and Mr. Roland G. Delara, Head Teacher 1 for approval. ELEMENTS OF THE LOGO ? The sun rays symbolize nationalism. ? The circular and colorful shape with a small letter “a” and “k” inside it represents ANGAT Kabataan and its color symbolizes gender sensitivity ? Two hands symbolize the upliftment (pag-ANGAT) of the student-leaders and youth in general.
