Usbong Kabataang Mindore?o (UKM) is a service-oriented youth organization in Socorro, Oriental Mindoro with aims of empowering Mindore?o youths through creating projects and programs. Also, UKM’s obejctives are to represent the unheard youth in the province, to provide essential services in benefit of the youth and the community, to develop an empowered youth leader for tomorrow, to assist the Mindore?o youths in their special concerns, to create a youth-friendly environment, to encourage youths to engage themselves in their respective communities, and to uphold the principles UKM is adhering. The UKM has grown fast and wide as years pass by. For four (4) years since its establishment, the group has been doing various projects and programs primarily aims to help and visit Mangyan (Indigenous Tribe) Communities in Oriental Mindoro.
