Established in 1988 as Central Board of Students, then Supreme Board of Students in 1989 until it was renamed The Paulinian Student Government in 2011. The Paulinian Student Government or PSG is under the Office of Student Affairs and Academic Support Services of St. Paul University Philippines. Its commitment is to empower and nurture the students through various activities to promote student participation and build a healthy environment for learning. The PSG holds an imperative role in assuring student discipline, proper channeling, and positive interactions among the students. The organization is divided into 3 branches: the Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary, all with different duties and responsibilities to fulfill. The executive branch, which consists of 9 officers and coordinators headed by the elected PSG President, implements the policies imposed by the University through its student handbook and ensures the operation of the organization. The Legislative branch consists of 12 senators and 10 representatives from different schools, including the elected Senate President and House Speaker, respectively serves as the law making body of the institution and helps in channeling concerns. And lastly, the Judiciary which consists of 7 Associate Justices from different schools, including the elected Chief Justice which ensures the implementation of the laws, rules, and regulations in lieu with the student handbook.
