AYO is a Visayan term that means "looking for help or assistance." We attempted to name the group in this manner because, as youth and leaders, we wanted to assist today's young people in becoming more cooperative and engaged. This is the only youth organization in the Ayoke neighborhood. However, the organization cares about the broader community in addition to young people. We must serve our communities fairly as young people. This means that when activities are planned, everyone benefits. Ayoke Youth Organization was founded in April of last year. That month, we began to gather the youth from the aforementioned community. We were all hesitant to form an organization at first. Perhaps because we have no notion where to begin or if it will succeed. But we know that if we work together, we can achieve astounding feats. Working together is a strategy that any organization should have. The impossible becomes achievable as a result of this. That is why we always encourage young people to get involved and engage in all activities. Others may claim that Ayoke is a little community, but that does not mean that our vision ends here. So, from the time we began collaborating and making acquaintances, we knew we could have a great impact. Our group has already participated in a variety of activities. Leadership seminars, financial literacy, and many other activities. We are attempting to develop and hone our skills in order to become effective leaders. Joining these activities will prepare us not just as leaders, but also as individuals. ''Langoy para sa kalambo an AYO" became our motto. Our tagline simply reminds us that no matter the difficulties we face while serving our community, we will continue to take the risk and swim. We are confident that at the end of these trials, we will have a brighter future.
