The Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS) is a Roman Catholic religious organization, under Archdiocesan Shrine of Señor Santo Niño, under the Diocese of Cotabato. The Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS) is also a youth organization, for the reason all members are youth which ages from 12 to 21. The Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS) is where you Served to the Lord and in the Catholic Church, where you find True Brotherhood, and happily find the Love of Christ, through the Eucharist. The Ministry of Altar Servers was established on the year 1993, headed by the priest in-charge (director) and followed by the 6 (six) major officers, which is the: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Auditor, and Public Information Officer. Now, the Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS) have been functioning for 30yrs and counting. Every 3yrs, the Ministry will be having an election for their new set of officers, it is according to the Constitutions and By Laws of the organization. Last 16 – 17, 2023, the Archdiocesan Shrine of Señor Santo Niño conducted a Parish Pastoral General Assembly (PPGA). PPGA is where all the leaders under ASSSN, from Chapel to Main Church is gathered to have a general assembly, during the PPGA, they suggested that the name of our organization should be changed from Ministry of Altar Servers to Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS), since our organization is under Shrine. From now on, our organization’s name is Ministry of Altar Servers (MAS). Objectives: a. To serve the Lord Jesus Christ, His Church, and the Community. b. To gives presence from our Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Eucharist to our modern youth. c. To educate our modern youth about the Tradition and Faith of the Roman Catholic Church.
