PINTAKASI (a portmanteau for “Pinabuhay Sa Tao Ang Kwento At Sining”) is a youth-led, non-profit, multi-arts organization based in Alabat Island, Philippines. Accredited by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts and winner of the 20th TAYO Awards, hailed as one of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organizations in the country. PINTAKASI is home to artists of Alabat Island from all walks of life transcending the spectrum of genders and encompassing all colors, shapes, and sizes—all united by the passion for freedom, expression, and beyond. The guild was pioneered on January 19, 2022, by a small group of young, bold, and innovative-spirited individuals who answered the call of art. The continuing struggle for art sustenance, appreciation, and support in the island entails the reason for initiating the endeavor. A promise was seen by PINTAKASI that a lot more can be done to innovate the local art scene. Vision: A collective that nurtures creativity, innovation, and discovery, effectively bridging societal gaps through art, and firmly establishing Alabat's cultural and artistic identity throughout the country and the world.
