The Bayog Youth for Peace Movement (BYPM) is a non-governmental organization based in the Philippines that aims to promote peace, justice, and development through the active participation of the youth. The organization was founded in 2013 and is composed of young Filipinos who are committed to creating positive change in their communities and the country as a whole. The main objective of BYPM is to build a culture of peace and non-violence among the youth in the Philippines. The organization seeks to achieve this goal through various programs and activities, such as peace education, conflict resolution training, and community building initiatives. BYPM also advocates for the rights and welfare of marginalized sectors, such as indigenous peoples and farmers, who are often affected by armed conflict and social injustice. BYPM also aims to empower the youth to become active agents of change in their communities. The organization provides opportunities for young people to develop their leadership skills, engage in civic participation and community development, and contribute to nation-building. BYPM believes that the youth have the potential to create a better future for themselves and their country, and aims to harness their energy and creativity towards building a peaceful, just, and sustainable society.
