MIYALSA is a kapampangan term "to uplift." - is a youth organization founded in the year 2008 - the officers and members of this youth organization are the learners who are enrolled in the ALS - the members of this organization are all out of school youth aged 15 to 30 years old The objectives if MIYALSA: EDUCATION: Project: tutoriALS 1. To improve the numeracy skills of co ALS learners who are slow in numeracy. 2. To enhance the literacy skills of ALS learners who struggle with literacy. 3. To provide accessible and comprehensive tutorials for co ALS learners, specifically designed to address their individua learning needs in numeracy and literacy. 4. To support co ALS learners in gaining confidence and self -esteem in numeracy and literacy through step-by-step tutorials and practice exercises. 5. To foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where co ALS learners feel comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification on numeracy and literacy. CLEAN AND GREEN ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM 1. Environmental Awareness- The program aims to raise awareness among the youth about the importance of environmental conservation and the impact of their actions on the environment. 2. Cleanliness and Sanitation- The program strives to promote cleanliness and proper waste management practices within the community. This includes organizing clean-up drives and educating the youth on the proper disposal of waste materials. 3. Beautification and Aesthetics- The program aims to enhance the visual appeal of public spaces by organizing initiatives such as tree planting, landscaping and mural painting. This improves the overall aesthetics of the community and create a positive environment. 4. Community Engagement- The program encourages active participation and engagement from the community. By involving them in various activities, MIYALSA aims to foster a sense of responsibility and ownership among the youth for the upkeep and improvement of their surroundings.
