The League of Social Studies Catalysts (LSSC) is an organization established and led by social studies students who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities. LSSC recognizes that social studies education is a vital means of promoting social justice, equality, civic engagement, and sustainability. Through various sustainable programs, LSSC offers its members a platform to enhance their professional competencies, connect with others, and participate in community development and advocacy. LSSC also works with local allies and beneficiaries to address the issues and opportunities of the communities they serve. By doing so, LSSC strives to achieve its vision of creating sustainable local communities where every person is valued, respected, and empowered to make a difference.
