The ABBUYOG Supreme Student Government (SSG) is an organization that represent the students in New Tanglag National High School. It composed of President, Vice-president, secretary, treasurer, auditor, press information officer, sentinels who work together to address the needs, concerns, and aspiration of the student body. The ABBUYOG SSG serves as a platform for students voices to be heard, advocating for their rights and welfare. They strive to promote a positive and inclusive school environment where every student feels valued and supported. With a focus on leadership and service, the ABBUYOG SSG initiates various project and activities like clean-up drive, care touch educate outreach program, tutorials for struggling learners in different subject area, tree planting, symposium on drug prevention , organizing teachers day activity, and facilitating workshops or seminars to enhance students’ skills and knowledge. ABBUYOG SSG members are often friendly, approachable, empathetic individuals who genuinely care about the well-being of their fellow students. They act as liaisons between the student body, faculty and school administration, ensuring open communication and collaboration. In their role, ABBUYOG SSG officers exhibit patience and understanding when listening to the concerns of their peers. They work diligently to find resolutions or bring attention to issues that affect the student’s academic, social, or personal lives. Overall, the ABBUYOG SSG is a vital part of any DepEd, fostering a harmonious relationship among students, teachers, and administrators. They embody helpfulness, gentleness, patience, and friendliness, ultimately striving to create a positive and supportive educational experience for all.
