Education, Active Citizenship, Environment
The Organization was founded on July 7, 2018, under the pioneering leadership of Miss Lara Grace M. Palay. The emblem and color are blue which is the strand color. This organization aims to unite the Humanista community to promote social cognizance through civic, intellectual, and recreational programs and activities. Since its foundation, it has fostered numerous activities. It has produced several promotional videos to promote its identity as well as the Strand’s identity which was duly approved by the school principal to be posted on social media platforms. It has done several outreach programs and gift-giving activities which have been recognized by the school and the city. It has been participating in the annual Brigada Eskwela Program. It has launched its very own online student publication, The Paramount recently (which is still in progress thru the help of the school’s IT Experts). Yearly, it has conducted HUMSS Day which strengthens the bonds of the Humanista community, the teachers, and its alumni (but since we are amid the pandemic, it has resorted to other online activities to somehow reach out to all the humanistas to showcase their talents and hear their voices). Objectives: -Promote social cognizance through civic, intellectual, and recreational programs and activities. - Develop love of God and Country, and the appreciation of humanities and social sciences; - Hone members for effective leadership; - Promote unity among the whole HUMSS community and student; - Serve the students according to their needs; - Support the school in promoting quality education and discipline among students; - Represent the HUMSS community of Palawan National School in any level.
