SIDHÁ – San Jose City is a youth organization focused on assisting rural schools and communities in the field of education and health. Our organization, which was establish on November 1, 2022, is consisting of students and young professionals, who seeks to become agents of change and contribute to community development. Our vision is to have a progressive community where volunteerism and care for others stand out by contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of the students living in the outskirts of San Jose City. Our objectives are the following: (1) Deliver assistance to the rural communities of San Jose City; (2) Initiate volunteerism among students and young professionals; and (3) Contribute to the betterment of the community development. We are guided by five core values: S – Serbisyo; I – Integridad; D – Dedikasyon; H – Husay; A – Aksyon. Through the projects we already conducted and currently facilitating, such as Seminar on Sex Education and Family Planning (Completed), Usbong Karunungan (Ongoing, Literacy Project), and SIDHÁpagkainan sa Eskwelahan (Ongoing, Food Feeding Program), we aim to reach out to more communities.
