Saliwsiw, a fishing method widely practiced in Brgy San Lorenzo, Mauban, Quezon—a Barangay whose residents are primarily engaged in fishing—has inspired SK San Lorenzo to the creation of a community publication called "Ang Saliwsiw". This publication aims to foster transparency within the community by providing coverage of the council's daily activities, achievements, and plans. Moreover, it serves as a platform for the youth and residents of Brgy. San Lorenzo to showcase their remarkable talents and skills, actively encouraging their involvement in news writing to contribute to the publication. Ang Saliwsiw thrives on the active participation and volunteerism of Brgy. San Lorenzo's youth, the hard work of officials, and the collaboration of other entities.
