The Isabela State University Debate Society is a society open for aspiring debaters and public speaking enthusiasts. Its primary objective is to unite debaters, writers and public speakers, and establish a safe and healthy environment for the pursuit of encouraging healthy discussions. It is also to promote the exercise of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, to develop social and political awareness among students and facilitate healthy discussion within the campus, to provide a learning ground for aspiring debaters and train skills essential for professional growth, to facilitate events, programs and projects relevant to public speaking and writing, and to engage in academic activities and support the pursuit of student welfare.
