Youth Entrepreneurship and Cooperativism in School is a DepEd recognized organization is conceptualized in the belief that with good foundation on entrepreneurship and cooperativism at the secondary level, the students can evolve into a creative and productive citizens capable of establishing their own source of livelihood and eventually supporting their own tertiary level. This become the turning point of the government in shifting the pattern of employment to job generation culture in order to respond to the problem of unemployment. The school being an environment that nurtures young entrepreneur as one of the learning competencies included the TLE subject becomes a significant environment where contribution for economic fertility will come out. The YECS will serve to support, enhance, enrich and highlight the work education and lifelong skills training program in the curriculum. The students will be exposed in actual and real entrepreneurial and cooperative businesses and at the same time "earning and learning" while still in school ensures a creative, innovative, productive and responsible citizenry.
