Social Inclusion and Equity, Active Citizenship

The name of this organization is Akbay La Carlota - Youth (ALCY)and it is a youth-serving, non-political and nongovernmental organization founded in La Carlota City. The purpose of the organization is to empower the youth of La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, Philippines through leadership development, community service, and advocacy for social change, and consists of all the members divided into different batches. As a youth-serving organization, we believe and stand by with our Vision, Mission, Core Values and Philosophy; A. Vision - Akbay La Carlota - Youth, as a youth-serving organization, is committed to create an opportunity where young leaders are actively engaged in positive and sustainable change in their communities through reality-based activities and leadership development programs. B. Mission - Akbay La Carlota - Youth commits itself to: 1. Provide leadership trainings and development programs to young people in La Carlota City and neighboring areas; 2. Encourage youth engagements in community service projects that address pressing social issues; 3. Raise awareness and advocate for social justice and equality through various campaigns and events; 4. Build a network of young leaders who are committed to creating positive change in their communities; 5.
