Social Inclusion and Equity, Peace-Building and Security

The students of Western Mindanao State University, shall collectively act as the advocate of WMSU Gender Association Inc. for Equality, Equity, Social Feminism, Empowerment, Protection and Humanism united by diverse and dynamic knowledge. Statement of Objectives • The WMSU Gender Association Inc. shall be the leading advocate for students’ gender issues and concerns regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression and sex characteristics, social status, ethnicity, race, religion, within the university. • The WMSU Gender Association Inc. shall encourage maximum members’ engagement in all GAD-related activities conducted by the organization. • The WMSU Gender Association Inc. shall implement sustainable projects and activities for members’ enrichment and empowerment as GAD advocates. • The WMSU Gender Association Inc. shall at all times protect members from all forms of abuses and discrimination.
