Our youth organization is bented in an urban depressed area where residents are monthly underprivileged and disadvantaged. The organization is established in Golden Acres Subdivision, Talon Uno, Las Piñas City with current active members of 30 young people ages 15 to 24 years old comprising in-school and out-of school youth. Our objectives are the following: • To foster and develop increased learning and development opportunities for young people by encouraging and supporting them to contribute, steer initiatives and lead their own youth-led projects • To build strong relationships with organizations that share our aims, thereby further increasing the capacity of young people to build on their skills and aptitudes for their own personal growth and their community's long term success and development. • To generate in young people a sense of responsibility and ownership for the actions they undertake and to develop their citizenship and involvement in their communities. • To contribute to the reduction in the spread of STIs and HIV among the youth and mitigate their impact on the individual and society; • To reduce the incidence of teenage and unwanted pregnancies, and the sequel of unsafe abortion: • To reduce alcohol and substance abuse, and pornography among the youth; • To promote environmental education and active participation in environmental conservation among the youth. • To promote the participation of youth in culture, sport and recreation activities. • To strive to discover talents of youth in our respective community. • To keep away the youth from streets, taking drugs and alcohol.
