The PIT-LHS-SSC is the highest governing student body of Palompon Institute of Technology Laboratory High School Department. Established by the secondary students of Palompon Institute of Technology, this organization bears the crucial responsibility of leading the educational environment in the direction of the student body's overall growth on all fronts-physical, mental, social, cultural, political, and spiritual. It is based on the understanding that education can help students realize a just and compassionate life by encouraging critical thinking and impartial judgment. Its mandate includes an implicit commitment to uphold students; rights and welfare in accordance with the Laws of the Land. The PIT-LHS-SSC has a diverse mission that includes fostering nationalistic consciousness and social awareness, supporting academic freedom, and offering a platform for students to express their point of view. Special consideration is given to the varied needs of incoming freshmen, guaranteeing their seamless adjustment into the academic environment. The PIT-LHS-SSC's principles is characterized by respect for the official student publication's autonomy as well as recognition of recognized student clubs and organizations. It actively participates in the creation of institutional policies, speaking with the Board of Trustees on behalf of the interests of the student body. The PIT-LHS-SSC, guided by principles of democracy and civic responsibility, encourages student participation in societal transformation, affiliating with broader student unions and organizations at national, regional, and local levels. The PIT-LHS Supreme Student Council provides emergency support to fellow students who are in need and fosters the growth of leadership and management abilities. It also advises the president of the Institute on issues that are particularly important to the student body. Essentially, the PIT-LHS-SSC becomes an active leader, guiding the course of intellectual, spiritual, social, political, cultural, and physical development and so supporting the PIT-LHS student body of equity, teamwork, and shared objectives.
