Environment
Kabiling Lunhaw (hereafter referred to as KL) is a non-stock, non-profit, youth-led, environmental organization with the ultimate goal of stewarding a greener, cleaner Bohol. KL started as a group of high school students that had wonderful dreams of truly taking care of the environment. Years later and with much effort, it grew into a provincewide organization which gathered plenty of community youth-leaders all over Bohol. Throughout the years, KL has been part of landmark policies and programs regarding the environment, namely the establishment of Bohol as the first Geopark in the Philippines under the UNESCO Global Geoparks Network and Zero Waste Programs implemented on Tintinan, Ubay. Very recently, KL participated in a Local Conference of Youth, as a member organization of the Youth 4 Just Transition Network, which, among many, produced a Philippine Youth Statement and Agenda for the UNFCCC or the 28th Conference of Parties. At present, the organization is undergoing a radical restructuring due to circumstances, but rest assured KL will come back bolder and better for the people and the environment.
