The Supreme Student Council is the highest student government in the University. The organization has served the students of MSU- GenSan since its creation in 1967. The projects of the council are ensured to cater its scope which includes the seven colleges of the institution. The SSC endeavors to promote national consciousness and social responsibility that will serve the best interest of the students; help develop the critical, creative, and holistic development of every student; encourage, train, and develop students for leadership roles; promote diversity and inclusivity in all its activities, and shall strive to create a safe and welcoming environment for all members including the advancement of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression (SOGIE) rights; represent the students in the implementation of the University’s programs and projects that are aligned with the interest of the students; and demand a genuine democratic participation and representation in all policy-making bodies on issues that affect the students.
