Barangay Seguinon Youth Organization, or basically known as "BASEYO", is an active youth organization of Barangay Seguinon, Salcedo, Eastern Samar. It was founded on December 4, 2016 by Mr. Antonio A. Abletes, a youth advocate of the said barangay. As an organization, it envisions to establish an association that will provide moral, social and economic well-being, not only for its members but also for the welfare of the community and the environment it belongs in. It aims to promote mutual respect to peers and other people, inclusivity as well as gender-friendly and eco-friendly programs. BASEYO, despite being known by a few, also dreams to be recognized by a wider audience—not just in a municipal level but also in regional, provincial, national, or even in international level. It only has one major purpose: "To empower the youth of Barangay Seguinon and provide them great opportunities and experiences they could ever utilize in their respective futures".
