Education
Bagoa-ingud Peace Organization gives youth a "safe space" that they wouldn't have otherwise, a place where they can express themselves through arts and activities, or just by being able to talk openly with peers and caring adults, a place that can help change public perception of young people from being "the problem" to an important part of making life better in the Barangay. The Bagoa-ingud Peace Organizations can end up being the most comfortable place for them to talk about what's going on if they are experiencing severe social difficulties or are in danger of abuse at home. Studies have also connected mentoring to enhanced socio emotional growth, better perceptions of parent-child relationships, and increased opportunities for postsecondary education. Teens who are dealing with sin or temptation, or who are hesitant to talk to their parents about issues at home or school, can confide in their youth leaders. Proficient after-school initiatives offer educational settings that yield numerous advantages for young people, families, and communities. By involving young people, the community is allowing them to carefully develop their leadership potential, so that as they grow and learn they can become thoughtful, prepared leaders of the society. There is no denying the beneficial effects that joining a youth group may have on the lives of young people. Joining a youth organization has several advantages, ranging from better academic achievement to a lower risk of starting illegal drug, child abuse and other bad doings. Bagoa-ingud Peace organizations also help young people develop critical life skills, a feeling of community, and access to chances for civic engagement.
