Health, Education
BKD was born out of young people’s desire to have a youth core group who shall serve as role models whom they can emulate. It is a project of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) designed as a preventive education and information program to counter the dangers and disastrous effects of substance abuse. General Objectives – To promote people empowerment in leading a healthy lifestyle that is drug-free and productive. Specific Objectives: 1. To establish a BKD movement within MSEMSAT; 2. To train the students in advocating a healthy and productive drug-free lifestyle; 3. To create a fully drug-free environment in the home, school, workplace and community; 4. To encourage productive use of time and alternative activities; and 5. To provide support services towards the adoption of Barkadahan concept among families, educators, professionals, work forces, peer groups, and other sectors.
