Archery is pleasurable but frustrating. It takes various forms as an individual or team sport. It is both the spirit of competition and intellect development of mastering the mechasnics of storing and releasing energy. Relatively, inexpensive depending on the extent of the involvement. It has no age limit and can be enjoyed by physically the physical challenge.. The serious competitor may undertake an extensive training program developing muscular strength, endurance, cardiovascular fitness, and flexibility. A comprehensive program should also include instruction in sports psychology, stress management, attention focusing, shooting and equipment maintenance. This may help students set goals for themselves and become successful in the process. Archery is beneficial both psychological and physiological. The skills learned in archery may transgress beyond archery to everyday circumstances. Learning imagery and stress management skills may change an archer’s behavior pattern. It also provides personal satisfaction. Competitive archers seek to obtain a level of effortless sshooting which Is synchronization of mind, body and spirit. The udyong archery Club of Bacnotan was organized since September 2012 with the following objectives: 1. To develop A Beginner Archery Program for Bacnotan National High School 2. To Conduct A Beginner archery sessions to be conducted by the coach/Trianer. 3. To train, select and evaluate student-archers who represent the school in sports competitions such us Cluster meets, Provincial Meet, Regional Meet, Palarong Pambansa, Invitational Tournaments conducted by the World Archery Philippines and International Competitions
