The Climate Emergency Responders is a youth environmental organization under the guidance of the Climate Change Adaptation Division of City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office RESCUE 211 that aims to encourage every youth organization, leaders, and community to participate in various environmental programs, especially in preserving and conserving our natural resources to achieve sustainable environmental development. The Climate Emergency Responders is composed of representatives from various leading youth organizations, and committees that inspire and educate individuals to build a more lasting, resilient environmental community and provide sustainable solutions that reduce the impact of climate change through educational, environmental ideas, and hands-on learning experiences in collaboration with organizations and leaders. OBJECTIVES 1. To strengthen partnerships with NGO’s and other youth organizations in environmental action for climate change resilience. 2. To enhance community awareness in environmental issues and concerns 3. To facilitate and provide programs, projects, and activities for environmental and climate change response. 4. To have a group of young leaders, knowledgeable and equipped enough in climate change response.
