PasigLaban Kabataan (PLK) is a youth-led citywide organization that envisions championing ideas and influencing others through youth-led advocacies. PLK believes that the youth play a significant role in bringing about social change. PLK envisions itself being one of the flagship youth organizations of Pasig City. We intend to promote community participation, critical thinking, and inclusivity through empowering, educating, gathering, and mobilizing the Pasigueño youth. The name of the organization is derived from the following terms: - PASIG. The members of the organization are citizens of Pasig City. - LABAN KABATAAN. The organization aims to amplify the different issues that the youth are fighting for. The aims of PLK shall be: - To aid and assist the Pasigueño youth to become better citizens by making them aware of their responsibilities to their city, their country, and their fellowmen; - To inspire collective action and represent the Pasigueño youth matters that concern them; - To serve as a means of mobilizing and coordinating the actions of the Pasigueño youth and other community members and organizations toward progressive goals; - To promote the development of future youth leaders; - To assist in providing solutions to problems facing the Pasigueño and the Filipino youth.
