The "Kabataan ng Katipunan Street" is a community initiative named after the youth branch of the Katipunan, a Philippine revolutionary society that played a significant role in the country's fight for independence against Spanish colonization in the late 19th century. This street aims to honor the spirit of youthful activism, patriotism, and dedication to the nation's freedom struggle. Objectives: Commemoration: To commemorate the bravery and sacrifices of the youth members of the Katipunan who fought for Philippine independence. Education: To educate the community, especially the youth, about the historical significance of the Katipunan and its role in shaping Philippine history. Youth Empowerment: To inspire and empower the youth to actively participate in nation-building, social justice, and community development initiatives. Cultural Heritage: To preserve and promote the cultural heritage associated with the Katipunan and its relevance to contemporary Filipino society. Community Engagement: To foster a sense of community pride and unity among residents living along Kabataan ng Katipunan Street through various cultural and educational activities. Civic Responsibility: To encourage active citizenship and a sense of responsibility towards upholding the values of freedom, democracy, and social justice. Symbol of Hope: To serve as a symbol of hope and resilience, reminding future generations of the power of collective action in striving for a better and more just society.
