The VERDADERO LIDERATO DE LOS JOVENES PARA PROGRESO Y DESARROLLO DE LA CIUDAD DE ZAMBOANGA (VERDAD) is a formally constituted youth-led, youth organization, duly established in Zamboanga City. It is committed to the principles of democracy, operates on a non-profit, non-stock, and non-sectarian basis, and aims to serve the youth community of Zamboanga City and the Philippines. The mission of VERDAD is to foster active youth involvement and engagement in advancing the principles of Good Governance and authentic, servant leadership, advocating for various causes relevant to the youth, while actively contributing to the localization of the Philippine Youth Development Plan through youth-driven initiatives and conducted through democratic processes, thus seeking to empower every member of the youth community, ensuring their voices are not only heard but also amplified within their respective localities.
