The 4-H name represents four personal development areas of focus for the organization: head, heart, hands, and health. The goal of 4-H is to develop citizenship, leadership, responsibility, and life skills of the youth through experiential learning programs and a positive youth development approach. 4-H Club is an organization of Out-of-School Youth (OSY) and In-School Youth (ISY) involved in agriculture programs and livelihood projects for the four-fold development of the HEAD, HEART, HANDS, and HEALTH. Membership is open and voluntary for the youth who are single, aged 7 to 30 years old. This organization emphasizes community-based projects in agriculture and livelihood. 4-H Club is also an avenue for farm family development. LEADERSHIP.
