Social Inclusion and Equity

As a youth organization in Cadiz City Negros Occidental, the Indigenous Peoples Welfare Advocacy Group also known as IWAG Cadiz aims to promote the Indigenous community’s rights, culture, social welfare, government participation, and economic opportunities, more specifically the Ata tribe, the only indigenous community in Cadiz City. IWAG Cadiz was created out of desire for an inclusive, inward-looking, effective, and strong advocacy organization who looks and promote the welfare of the indigenous communities. Hence, it must uplift the values of diversity and inclusivity as the heart of its advocacies.
